Billy Dees, age 53, of Mooresburg, passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at his home. He was a member of Bentley’s Chapel Baptist Church and served as a helicopter mechanic in the U. S. Army. He loved drag races and UT football. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Dees. He is survived by his mother, Ethel Neal Dees; sister, Marsha (Bobby) Russell; brother, Tinker Dees; niece, Summer Dees; and special friend, Lisa Brooks. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home on Friday, January 24th at 1:00 p.m. with Rev Gilbert Robinson officiating. VFW Post 5266 will conduct military honors after the service. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 5 – 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
