He was preceded in death by his parents: Pete and Ruth Ray. son: Freddie Ray and granddaughter: Erica Ray.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Judy Ray. Daughters: Angie RAy and Lora Miller. Sisters: Peggy Trent and Susie Morris. Sisters-in-law: Ritta Johnson and Jan Greene. Grandchildren: Cory (Julie) Lewis, MacKynnley Tipton, Kasi (Chris) Chitwood, Jeremiah (Elizabeth) Ray, Bailey Tipton, Nolan Smith, Kheyndelle Tipton and Mason Smith, Great grandchildren: Grayson, Mayson and Kayson Tipton, Tristan, Jack and Ali Richardson, Everleigh and Tucker Tipton, Asher Smith, and baby Smith, coming in August, along with Grant Ray, and baby Ray, coming in August.
Special friends: Jack Weems, Charlie Cates, Conley Smith and Mark Musick. And a host of other family and friends.
A celebration of his life will be held on Friday, April 10, 2026 at 12 Noon in the chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home. Rev. Sonny Trent and Rev. Dustin Trent officiating.
