He was employed by Morristown Public Works for 18 years and formerly Berkline of Morristown. He was a devoted Christian and member of Morningside Baptist Church for many years.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother and grandfather, Anna and Walter Self.
Survivors include his loving wife of 28 years, Linda Templin Hunley, son, William Dean Hunley and mother: Betty Nicely, as well as brother, Shannon (Crystal) Hunley, brother-in-law: Gary (Teresa) Templin and special nieces Abbygail Templin, Rachel Hunley and Brooke Davenport.
Family will receive friends at Morningside Baptist Church, 2202 Chestnut Avenue, Morristown, on Saturday, June 10, 2023 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, with funeral services beginning at 7:00 PM. Rev. Kenny Boling, and Rev. Doug Brown officiating.
Burial will be on Sunday, June 11, 2023 at 1:00 PM in Hamblen Memory Gardens.
