Rev. Dwight Wolfe, age 58 of Bean Station went to be with his Savior on October 24, 2014. He received his Savior at the age of 9 at his home. He was a member of Barnards Grove Missionary Baptist Church, was employed by Mahle and partnered with his brother, Deward Wolfe on their family livestock farm, and later Jonathan Wolfe began working with them. He was preceded in death by his parents John C. and Ruth Wolfe.
Survivors include his brother Deward Wolfe; nephew Jonathan Wolfe; several cousins; and a host of friends. Funeral services will be held at Barnards Grove Missionary Baptist Church on Sunday October 26, 2014 at 8 p.m. with the Rev. Jeff Sinnamon and Rev. Gary Satterfield officiating. Family and friends will meet on Monday at 10:45 a.m. in Meadow Branch Cemetery for an 11 a.m. graveside service. Pall bearers will be: Brian Carpenter, Terry Wolfe, Albert Manis, Stacy Greene, Danny Wolfe, and Bo Johnson. Honorary pall bearers will be: Benny Wolfe, Josh Stiner and Chad Dalton. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. prior to the services at the church. In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
