Edna Belle Carson, age 69, of Morristown, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 27, 2013 at Lakeway Regional Hospital. She was of the Presbyterian faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cawood and Rosa Carson; sister, Grace Carson; four brothers, Jimmy, Bud, Roy, and J. E. Carson; and niece Rhonda Carson. Survivors include her nieces, Marie (Hugh) Helton and Renee (David) Thompson; great-nephews, Rev. Michael Morgan and Matthew Thompson; great-nieces, Teresa Goodman, Regina McPherson, and Jennifer Kinsler; and several great-great-nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 29, 2013 at 8:00 p.m. in the chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home with Rev. Delmas Harris and Rev. Michael Morgan officiating. Family and friends will meet Tuesday morning at 10:50 a.m. in Sunderland Cemetery for an 11:00 a.m. graveside service. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening from 6 – 8:00 p.m. prior to the services. The family wishes to give a special thank you to Amedisys Hospice.
