Edward Wayne Sturm, age 64, of Morristown, went to be with the Lord on Friday, November 11, 2016 at his residence. He was a veteran of the US Army and a member of Boyd’s Creek Church of God. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Dewey and Mary Ruth Sturm; and sister, Lisa Kay Sturm. Survivors include his children, Anthony Sturm, Jenelda (Brandon Owens) Sturm, Lisa (Ralph) Miller, and Shandea Sturm; grandchildren, Hayleigh, MaKayla, Damien, Desmond, Peyton, and Eli; great-granddaughter, Lillyana; brothers, David (Ruby) Sturm, Mack (Billie) Sturm, Tim (Karen) Sturm; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Monday, November 14 from 5 – 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor David Cleveland officiating. Family and friends will meet in Hamblen Memory Gardens on Tuesday at 10:45 a.m. for an 11:00 a.m. graveside. Military honors will be provided by VFW Post #5266. Services are under the direction of Stubblefield Funeral Home.
