Elaine Melton Solomon, age 76, of Morristown, formerly of Bulls Gap, went to be with the lord on Thursday, April 25, 2013 at the Life Care Center of America. She was a member of Morningside Baptist Church and was a retired LPN having worked for many years in the medical profession. She is preceded in death by her parents, Willie Jay and Louise Melton. She is survived by her daughter, Charlotte Adkins and one grandson, Daniel Handy. A memorial service will be conducted at Morningside Baptist Church, on Thursday ,March 2, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. Rev. Ross Woody will officiate. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Morningside Baptist Church or The Pregnancy Support Center. Stubblefield Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements
