Eric Michael Buell Walker

Eric Michael Walker, age 39, of Newport, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 3, 2020. Preceding him in death was his papaw, Jackie Buell; grandfather, Walter Walker; and great-grandparents, Dillard and Hassie Buell.

Survivors include his son, Kyler; mother, Patty Buell Gibbons; father, Mike (Glenda) Walker; sisters, Candice Higgins and Chelsea Taylor; brother, Lance Derry; Mamaw, Judy (Tom) McKinney; grandma, Marjorie Poore; aunts, Connie “Sis” (Michael) Moss and Rhonda Walker; cousin, Corallyn Moss; uncle, Tim Walker; best friend and special dog, Famous; a large extended family; and a host of friends.

Family and friends may call at their convenience on Friday, October 9, 2020 between 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Steve Buell and Tom McKinney officiating. Graveside services will be held in Hamblen Memory Gardens on Saturday, October 10, 2020 at 11:00 a.m.
