Evelyn (Rice) Fannin, 84, of Bean Station, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 9, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Born on October 7, 1941, in Freeburn, Kentucky, Evelyn was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She faithfully served the Lord throughout her life and was a cherished member of Freeburn Church of God and Bean Station Church of God.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Fannin; her parents, Johnnie and Bernice (Stump) Rice; and her brother, Johnnie E. Rice.
She is survived by her children, Rhonda (Dennis) Daniels of Lawrenceburg, KY, Mitch (Jill) Fannin of Bean Station, TN, and Mike (Krystal) Fannin of Harold, KY; her grandchildren, Ryan (Kady) Fannin, Joshua Stratton, Somer (Brad) Jenkins, Kirstin (Jeremy) Sapp, Mykah (Sam) Prater, and Sydney (Zach) Johnson; and her great-grandchildren, Stella Fannin, Jett Fannin, Everley Jenkins, Griffin Johnson, Levi Prater, Grady Johnson, Emersyn Prater, Kaedryn Jenkins, and Greyson Jenkins.
As a lifelong homemaker, she created a home filled with warmth, faith, and unconditional love. She found joy in the simple, meaningful moments—especially spending time with her family and
serving them, often through her home cooked meals. She also had a love for crafting, using her creativity to make many beautiful things for those she loved.
Evelyn will be remembered for her unwavering faith and the selfless ways she poured into others. Her life was a true reflection of love, devotion, and grace.

Visitation with her family will be held on Thursday, April 16, 2026 from 11:00 am until 12:00 noon at Stubblefield Funeral Home with funeral services to follow at 12:00. Rev. Mark Hatley officiating.
Entombment to follow in the Hamblen Memory Gardens Mausoleum.
