Kelly Darrell Burke, age 66, of Morristown, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 15, 2015 at Lakeway Regional Hospital. He became a Christian at 17 years old. He was a member of the National Rifle Association. He was preceded in death by his father, Ross Burke; and mother, Juanita Burke. Survivors include his loving wife of 20 years, Deborah Burke; sister, Carolyn Whitaker; aunts, Doxie Wolfenbarger, Lena (Jerry) Mitchell, Pearl Harris; nephews, Dale (Susie) Noe, Christopher Noe; special sisters-in-law, Geneva Bullard and Doris Solomon; brother-in-law, Earl Bullard; good friends, Errin Carroll and Dennis O’Dell; several extended family members; many friends too numerous to mention; and his two best friends who were always by his side, Major and Rowdy. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home on Friday, February 20, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Mike Elkins officiating. Family and friends will meet at 12:45 p.m. on Saturday for a 1:00 p.m. graveside service in Hamblen Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 4 – 7:00 p.m. prior to the services at the funeral home. Stubblefield Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
