Mary R. (Hawk) Ball

Mary was preceded in death by her father, Walter J. Hawk; her mother, Emily Mooneyham; her husband, Elward T. Ball; her brother, Guy Hawk; her brother, Bill Hawk; her brother W.J. Hawk; her sister-in-law, Carolyn Lichlyter; and her brother-in-law, James "Jimmy" Ball.

She is survived by her son, Chris Ball; her daughters, Celia Brady (Eddie) and Cindy Avison (Mike) ; her granddaughter, Lindsey Trent (Travis); her grandson, Logan Brady (Janell); and her great-grandchildren, Landon Trent, Aubree Trent, Parker Brady, and Maya Brady; sister-in law: Martha Hawk; her sister-in-law, Martha Stevick (Larry)

Family and friends will gather for a visitation at Stubblefield Funeral Home on Thursday, December 11, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm, followed by a funeral service at 6:00 pm. with Pastor Bryan Cottrell officiating. A graveside service will be held at Union Cemetery in Newport on December 12, 2025 at noon.
