Michael retired from Lier-Seigler Company after 28 years of dedicated service. Known for his sense of humor, Michael enjoyed the outdoors as a hunter, fisherman and working in his garden. He was also an artist at heart, loving to paint, draw, and write poetry.
Michael was a member of Mustard Seed Worship Center.
Preceding him in death are his parents: Ermon and Jean Templin Coffey. Sister: Pam McClamery and brother: Clark Coffey.
Michael is survived by his sister: Becky Greer; nephew: Robby Greer; great niece, whom he adored: Zayda Greer. Special aunt: Mary Lou Taylor. Significant other: Rebecca Harris; his "Little Buddy" Hayden. Several other family members and many friends. And his beloved dog, Smokey.
The family will receive friends, Monday, March 2, 2026 from 12 Noon until 2:00 PM at Stubblefield Funeral Home, with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 with Rev. Gary Templin and Rev. Jerry Powers officiating. Graveside and burial to immediately follow in Hamblen Memory Gardens.
