On Saturday, May 17th 2025, the Good Lord decided to call his faithful servant, Robert Henry West Jr. Onward to his eternal home in Heaven. His amazing wife, best friend and Soulmate of 35 years, has been patiently waiting since Valentine's Day of 2021 when the Lord called on her!
I can only imagine the joyful noise and grand Celebration as 2 souls were reunited and merged as one, once and for all!!
Knowing this beyond a shadow of a doubt, brings me peace of mind even after the sudden loss of father, a brother, an uncle, Grandfather and friend to so many souls. Robert and Juel were the picture perfect example of what A storybook kind of love really was. Through good, bad and indifference, love always won!! When he lost Juel, he lost his desire for life.. He suffered thru Diabetes , Kidney failure and a severely broken heart! He was ready to meet his maker and be reunited with his best friend, companion and soul mate any time God was ready.
Roberts story began April 19th 1955 when he was delivered into the loving arms of his Mother Elsie and Father Robert Sr. His parents, sister Sharon, brother In Law Buddy and Baby brother Gary preceded him in death.. they were all present to welcome and embrace him as he passed through those pearly gates.
He is survived by his loving Daughter, Jennifer Lynn and her Fiancé James Worells.
He has 2 step Daughters, Lisa Helton and Carolyn Hatfield...Grandchildren, Angel Lynn and Kelly Faith Arroyo., granddaughter Lashon and husband Snooky Hayes, and Crystal Hatfield.
We will be here to proudly carry on and share in life lessons and precious memories to share!! There are so many Great grandchildren and even Great Great grandchildren .that are feeling the horrible loss with his passing. He is also survived by several brothers and sisters that will carry on the WEST LEGACY for many years to come! Left in the family are his Sisters Debra Braun,Shirley Burdick and Husband Lester, Peggy Toby and husband Robert Toby. Brothers, Ronnie West , Jimmy West, Roy West , Richard West and his Wife Nancy. And so many precious nieces and nephews. He was truly loved and cared for by so many, more than he even knew. We will all miss the family gatherings for Holidays and Special occasions that were always held at Maw n Paw's house!! There was no shortage of love or laughter!! So much fun was had when the guitar picking, family sing alongs that are long gone with the departure of Robert and Juel. Those moments in time will absolutely be missed the most! Countless memories like these are the most precious to myself and many others.
They say all good things must come to an end...and I believe he lived his best life to the fullest every chance he got!! Our pain from this great loss may be great We have lost a great man but The Lord has gained one more very special Angel!! Rest in Peace Daddy!! May your eternity be as great as you are!!
