He was preceded in death by his parents: Porter Juette and Sally June Wolfenbarger McGinnis; grandparents: Juette and Flossie McGinnis and Polly and Alta Coffey, sister and brother-in-law: Linda and Raymond Collins; niece: Brenda Epps, nephew: Greg Collins and his daughter: Danielle June McGinnis.
Scotty is survived by his daughter: Christie McGinnis and his future granddaughter; sisters: Kathy (Mark) White, Cindy (Jack) Hazeltine and Portia Russell along with many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Scooter's life will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2024 at 7:00 PM at Fernwood Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations are asked to be made to Christy for her and her baby.
