Cheryl “Cheri” Lynn ChapmanAfter losing a hard fought battle with Lupus, kidney disease, connective tissue disease and hypertension, Cheri passed on August 1, 2009.She was born on March 6, 1952 to Gene and Lois VanAllen in Tacoma, WA.She loved the outdoors, making what was to be her last camping trip for 5 days over the 4th of July to the beach’s and rainforest’s of the Olympic Peninsula. She enjoyed gardening also, planting a box garden this spring.She loved her family and was the glue that kept everything together with her never ending love and understanding. She is survived by her family: Ron at the home in Morton, Grandchildren Meceala of Napavine, Ashley and Dylan of Morton, Brothers Rick (Sherry) VanAllen of Tacoma, Darryl (Ruby) VanAllen of Seattle and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial will be held Saturday, August 15, 2009 at 2 pm at the Morton Methodist Church, casual dress. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions in Cheri’s name to the Lupus Foundation.
