in Morton, WA where she resided for the last 6 months. Born Dec. 31, 1923 in Syracuse, NY., she obtained her Bachelor of Education degree from National College of Education, in Evanston, Illinois. Dorothy started her 40 years teaching career in
Redlands, CA. She also taught in Barstow and Anaheim, CA. Dorothy was predeceased by Clyde, her husband of 55 years and daughter Barbie. She is survived by her children; Susan (Terry), Greg (Debbie) and Nancy. Grandchildren; Brian (Melissa), Bob, Deborah, Ryan (Angela), Stephanie (Edgar) and great-granddaughter, Avery, her brother Stanley (Lavonne) Butterworth and sister, Ruth (Marvin) Norris. Visitation will be on Monday, June 27 at 9:30 am with a service at 10 am at Emmerson-Bartlet Memorial Chapel, 703 Brookside Ave., Redlands followed by a procession to the graveside service at Hillside Memorial Cemetery, 1540 Alessandro Rd.
