

Peggy Anne Delk, 85, passed away June 19, 2023 at her home in Chehalis Washington. Peggy was born April 5, 1938 to Paul Perry and Muriel Watson in Los Angeles, California. She was raised along four siblings, Bob, Linda, Larry, and Jerry.
Peggy married the love of her life Robert Delk, in Reno, Nevada in 1954. Together, they grew their family from to six when they raised their four children; Sherri, Pamela, Paul, and Bobby. Their family continued to grow with the addition of 10 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
Often times, Peggy could be found quilting, sewing, gardening, cooking, painting, camping or fishing. She was a creator and loved to show her love for her family by making them quilts and many other projects. Peggy also had a love for watching her favorite football team, the Seattle Seahawks, and baseball team the Seattle Mariner. She was a avid member of her community participating in church as a deacon and for helping plan the potlucks and serving as a den mother for cub scouts and weblows. She even was awarded Den Mother of the Year award. In her retirement, Peggy found pleasure in being an active church member, planning family gatherings, and even making wedding cakes as a part time job.
Peggy is survived by her siblings; Bob, Linda, Larry, and Jerry, her children; Sherri, Pamela, Paul, and Bobby, her grandchildren; Shawn, Stephanie, Brian, Cassandra, Shane, Ashley, Chris, Jeremy, Sarah, and Heather, and many great grandchildren. A celebration of life service will be held at the Packwood Presbyterian Church July 1, 2023 at 2:00 pm, to follow is a graveside service at the Evergreen Cemetery in Packwood, and a reception gathering at the Presbyterian Church. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brown Mortuary, Morton.
