Bill worked as a painter. He loved hunting, fishing and spending time with family and friends. He always had a smile and a pleasant outlook for everyone. He was a loving son, brother and friend.
Left to cherish his memory are his son, Sean White of Sulphur; one brother, Frank Franklin of Moss Bluff; three sisters, Peggy McFarlain, Bernadine Dickerson and Tina Franklin all of Moss Bluff.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Ethel Franklin; two brothers, Darel McKay and Leonard Franklin; one sister, Jeanette Franklin.
His Homegoing will be at 2pm Monday, August 19, in Hixson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff. The Rev. Rusty Willis will officiate. Visitation is from 5-9pm Sunday and will resume Monday, 8am until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be in New Richey Cemetery.
