Derick Dartez

Derick loved hunting, music, playing the guitar and spending time with his children. He was a loving, son, grandson, father and friend who will be greatly missed.

Those left to cherish his memories are his father Wayne Dartez of Ragley, LA and his mother Karrie Green Dartez of Basile, LA, his maternal grandmother Bettie Janese Green, one brother; Josh Dartez and wife Kay of Kinder, LA, his longtime girlfriend, Jennifer N. Lee of Ragley, one son; Justin of Ragley, three daughters; Mary of Sulphur, Loura of Sulphur and Eaulolie of Ragley., and many friends and family.

Visitation will be Monday, March 9, 2015 from 5:00pm to 8:00 pm with a rosary at 6:00 pm at Hixson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff, LA, and visitation will resume on Tuesday from 9:00am until time of Service.

Funeral Service will be Tuesday, March 10, 2015 10:00am at Hixson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff, LA. Burial will follow immediately at Dartez Cemetery in Ragley, LA.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Dartez family.
