George was born to George and Nancy Hein on November 5, 1947 in Trenton Missouri. He joined the United States Army and served from 1967 to 1973 in which he received a National Defense Service Medal, Missleman Badge, Marksman Badge and also an Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal. He was a Lieutenant of the Harbor Police Dept.
George was a fan of LSU and New Orleans Saints Football teams. He loved to fish and had a fondness for his cats.
George is Preceded in death by his parents, Survived by his wife; Carol Rawlins Hein of Moss Bluff, son; Justin Casey Hein of Canada, step-son; David Mullins and wife Clancy of Lake Charles, step-daughter; Kristina Rawlins of Moss Bluff.
