Patrick Gilbert Franklin

Patrick was a loving husband, father and pawpaw. He was a good provider and great friend to all who knew him. He loved to fish, hunt and go camping. He was a retired painter from PPG. He was a member Moss Bluff Pentecostal Church.

Survivors include his wife, Doris Franklin; three sons, Patrick Franklin Jr., Josiah and wife, Charlott Franklin, and Lee Franklin; two daughters, Patsy Lacy and husband, Freddy and Kathy Thomas and husband, Odell; one brother, Russell Franklin; 8 grandchildren; 20 great- grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Leslie and Lillie Franklin; 4 brothers, Junior, Leonard, James, and Bobby Franklin; 3 sisters, Thelma Gray, Bonnie Taylor, and Burt Downs and 1 daughter Ruby Gaile Franklin.

His funeral will be at 11am Monday, May 13, 2013 in Moss Bluff Pentecostal Church. The Rev. Tim Mahoney will officiate. Visitation will be 2pm-9pm Sunday, May 12 at Hixson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff and will resume Monday 10am until service time at the church. Burial will be at New Ritchie Cemetery in Moss Bluff.
