Richard Dell Hendricks Sr.

Richard Dell Hendricks, Sr. 78, passed away on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Most of all, he loved his wife Jeanine of 57 years. He loved working in his workshop, fishing, and would BBQ for his family on Sundays, which was always a great family gathering. For many years, he served faithfully in the church wherever he was needed. He retired from Citcon/Citgo after many years of service. Richard was a member of the American Legion for a number of years. He was very proud of being in the Air Force as a MSgt, which he served for over 20 years and was a member of the Air Force Association.

He is survived by his loving wife Jeanine; sister Rosalie of Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin; daughter Toni Lynn Painter and husband Steve of California; son Richard Dell Hendricks, Jr. “Rick” and wife Sheila of Moss Bluff; daughter Terri Lynn Hendricks of Moss Bluff; and Carrie and Bradley Walley that he raised as his own. Also, he leaves behind his grandchildren Shannon, Cody, Ashley, Garret, Zachary, Danielle, and numerous great grandchildren. He leaves behind many friends and coworkers at his time at Citcon/Citgo.

Services will be held at Hixson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff, on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at 10:00am with the Celebrant being Jody Barrilleaux. Visitation will be on Friday, October 28, 2016 from 6:00-8:00pm and will resume on Saturday, from 9:00am until the time of the service. Burial will follow at Old Ritchie Cemetery.
