Samuel "Sam" Joseph Armentor Jr.

He worked as a truck driver for GP Transport of Texas for over 15 years before moving back to Lake Charles. Sam enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching drag racing. Spending time with family, especially his grandchildren, was his greatest joy.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Lucinda Armentor; son, Dominique Martin of Colorado; daughter, Rachel Cooley of Lake Charles; sisters, Katherine Wright of Dry Creek, Cheryl Garza of Starks and Brenda Woodard of Topsy; brothers, John Manny Armentor of Lil Chenier; James Armentor of Dry Creek; Ronald Lee Simmons of Leesville, Ronnie Edward Simmons of DeQuincy; and three grandsons, Corban Ace Cooley, Joseph Collins Martin, and Preston Jude Martin.

His funeral service will be held at 2pm, Saturday, September 1, 2018 in Hixson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff. Burial will follow in Old Ritchie Cemetery of Moss Bluff.
