

She was born in Gibsland, LA, raised in Shreveport, LA, attended Fair Park High School in Shreveport, and moved to Lake Charles in 1970. She was married for 51 years, worked in Saudia Arabia for 18 years and moved to Moss Bluff in 1989. She was owner and operator of First Class Catering. She enjoyed quilting, cooking and traveling in her RV to all 48 states as well as Canada.
She is survived by her husband, Frank Todd of Moss Bluff; sons, Larry Todd and wife, Givonna of Ringgold, LA, James Todd and wife, Diane of Westlake, Dennis Todd and wife, Nancy of Reeves, LA; 10 grandchildren, Nathan, Jason, Lane, Kane, Katlynn, Crystal, Terra, Tracie, Heather, Brett; 15 great grandchildren, Damien, Joseph, Brady, Darian, Emilee, Tagen, Austin, Elijah, Logan, Izzy, Anabel, Chelsea, Alex, Jada and one on the way. She was preceded in death by her mother, Floy C. Shamburger and father, Adolph Shamburger; brothers, Butch and Arthur Shamburger, granddaughter, Melinda Todd and great grandson, Landon Todd.
Her funeral service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at Hixson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff. Rev. Louis Blankenbaker will officiate. Visitation will be 4-9 p.m. Tuesday evening and will resume at 8 a.m. Wednesday morning.
