Vanessa Lynn McDaniel

She loved listening to old country music, playing cards and dancing. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, niece and friend.

She is survived by her son, William "Billy" and wife Angie McDaniel of Reeves; daughter, Laura Fuselier of Kinder; brother, Randy Kelly of Houston; grandchildren, Amber Parker McDaniel of Reeves and Ryan Stoder of Kinder; aunts, mainly, Darlene Langley of Toledo Bend; Sherry Dowden and husband Ronald of Ragley; Georgia Miller of Ragley and Ruby Hines and husband Charles of Jennings; and nieces, Heather Emmons and Brandy Darbonne.She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Flora Miller Roberts; brothers, Russell Ray Kelly and Kenneth Kelly; uncle, Dean Miller and late husband, Bobby George.

Pallbearers will be Billy McDaniel, Dillion Darbonne, Norman Bailey, Sparky Miller, Timmy Emmons, Scott Darbonne, Dee Dee Dowden and T.J. Emmons.

Her service will be 11:00am, Monday, November 17, 2014 at Hixson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff. Rev. David McDaniel will officiate. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00pm until 9:00pm and resume Monday from 8:00am until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Birdnest Cemetery in Gillis, LA.
