Lake Charles - Vernon Griffin "Butch" Hamilton, 58, died on Friday, October 15, 2010, at his place of residence.

Born in Kinder, La., lived in Moss Bluff, He was a graduate of Sam Houston High class of 1970, Mr. Hamilton worked as an electrician for local 861. He loved to hunt and ride his motorcycle, he was a member of Cotton Patch Hunting Club. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.

Survivors include his wife Dianne Sieben Hamilton of Moss Bluff, his Mother Zelma Smith of Moss Bluff, A son Travis Hamilton and wife Ashley of Bossier City, La., A daughter Dawn Hooper and husband Cody of Moss Bluff, two- Brothers Woody Hamilton of Tunica, La. and Roger Smith of Moss Bluff, two-Sisters Carnenlia Neal of Alabaster, Alabama, and Debbie Carbone of Moss Bluff, three-Grandchildren, Devany, Griffen, and Makensi Hooper.
