

She was born in Mittie and was the youngest daughter of 13 children. She retired from Bolton Ford as a switch board operator after twenty years and she was a member of First Baptist Church of Moss Bluff. She filled her late husband, Wilmer Roberts, Police Juror term and then ran for office and was elected Police Juror for Ward 1, the first woman Police Juror in Louisiana.
She is survived by her husband of fifteen years, Charlie Reeves of Moss Bluff; daughter, LeJaunta Roberts Klehm of San Diego, CA; step son, Brian Reeves and wife Kim of Moss Bluff; step daughter, Debbie Evans of Moss Bluff; three grandchildren, Jade Ashleigh Klehm, Grayson Klehm and Hunter Klehm of San Diego, CA; step grandchildren, Shawnya Fontenot and husband Tommy, Tony Reeves, Holly Evans, Eric Evans and wife Cynthia, and John Evans and four great grandchildren.
Her service will be 10:00am, Thursday, March 31, 2016 at Hixson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00pm until 9:00pm and resume Thursday at 8:00am until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Cherry Grove Cemetery in Mittie, LA.
