

He was born January 2, 1965 in Pensacola, Florida to William James Cox and Betty Louise Cox. Bill was a resident of Moss Bluff and a dedicated employee of Acadiana Glass.
Bill had a passion for bowling, and loved the game which prompted him to join a league. “Mr. 300”, known to him by his teammates of “The Jokers” shared over ten years and great times with his teammates doing what they loved. Last year, Bill and his wife Sharon, formed the “Hot Shots” and enjoyed bowling on Friday nights. Bill was a very dependable, honest and caring employee of Acadiana Glass, where his employer recalls he had impeccable perfection for his work. Bill loved playing golf but his greatest love and passion was spending time with his family and enjoying campfires with his daughter and bonfires alongside his family. Bill was a very loving husband and was the most loving man and provider a wife could ask for.
Bill has left behind to treasure his memory, his loving wife and best friend of 22 years, Sharon Cox; parents, William and Betty Cox; sons, Robert Drake and wife Shawna; daughters, Jaimie Cox and Crystal Pousson and husband Keegan; brothers, Robert and Jesse Cox; grandchildren, Doris Drake, Mia Drake and Xander Drake.
A memorial gathering will be held at Hixson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff, Thursday, March 30, 2017 from 6:30pm to 8:30pm with a remembrance service being held at 7pm.
