Leslie D. Haas passed away March 3, 2017 at Shady Oak Nursing Home in Moulton, TX. He was born to Joe and Lillie Bauer Haas, July 1, 1921 in Moulton, TX. Leslie is survived by his daughter, Gloria Haas and husband Bob, grandchildren Robbie Haas, Heather Guerin, Stephanie Burson, Chad Haas, Ryan Haas, and Jessica Haas, and eleven great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Alice Kloesel Haas, children Kathy Haas White, Ronnie Haas, Dwight Haas, son-in-law Robert White, and brothers Walter Haas, Jody Haas, Ervin Haas, and George Haas. Pallbearers are Robbie Haas, Kevin Guerin, Colby Burson, Ryan Haas, Chad Haas, and Wiley Haas. Visitation will take place at 5:00pm Monday, March 6, 2017 at Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Moulton. Funeral Service will be 2:00pm Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at Zion Lutheran Church with Pastor Herbert Beyer officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Dear Gloria & Haas Family;
We were so sorry to hear about Uncle Leslie's passing! We always have the memories of him and Aunt Alice! Your Dad always treated everyone with such LOVE and RESPECT!! He is a TRUE cowboy who had so much dignity! We always LOVED seeing him. Always put a smile on my face even as a kid growing up. He will always be in our hearts!!

Prayers and comfort to the Haas family. Mr. Haas was a very kind man with a hearty laugh who loved being with family and friends. I have fond memories of visits to Moulton and the ranch. All our best from the entire Hanson family.

Gloria and Bob, we are so sorry in the loss of our uncle and very good friend, Leslie. We always enjoyed visiting with him and Alice when we were in Moulton. Wiley and Leslie had a special nephew and uncle relation and

I am so saddened to hear that your Dad passed away. I have so many good memories of your Dad &
Mrs. Haas that will also be remembered. My parents were good friends forever & especially when they
would come to visit at Nursing Home & visit with my Mom. His advice on treating things I will never forget... He was a great person an the memories will always be cherished forever.
