Margaret Lucille Polston

Margaret Lucille Polston, age 95, of Louisville, Kentucky returned to her Heavenly Father on Thursday, January 29, 2026. She was born on August 3, 1930, in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Samuel Paul Hadley and Zella Opal Hadley. Margaret was a member of Calvary Hill Baptist Church for many years. She loved to plant flowers and work in her garden. Her most cherished memories were the time spent with her family and friends. She will deeply be missed by all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Joe Junior Polston; daughter, Dianne Morgan; parents; brothers, Arvis Hadley, Paul Hadley, and Leonard Hadley; sisters, Maxine McDonald, Mary Grant and Imogene Coffey Grant. Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Larry Wayne Polston (Alice), Linda Jean Hamilton (Rick) and Joe Polston III (Angie); son-in-law, Mike Morgan; grandchildren, Amanda Morgan Triplett (Chad), Melissa Morgan Noles (Todd), Thomas Polston, Laura Polston, Ryan Pierson, Andrew Pierson (Ashley), Alexa Polston and Caleigh Polston; great grandchildren, Aiden Morgan, Lucas Noles, Spencer Noles, Skylar Noles, Phoebe Noles, Isabella O’Brien, Phaedra O’Brien, Emma Pierson and Colton Pierson; and a host of family and friends.

Funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, February 4th, 2026, at 10:30 am in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home Mt. Washington (123 Winning Colors Drive, Mt. Washington KY, 40047.) with burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens. Family and friends may pay their respects on Tuesday, February 3rd, 2026, from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Wednesday, February 4th, 2026, from 9:00 am until the time of service at the funeral home.
