Mr. Tony Dewayne Francis, age 63, of Mt. Washington, Kentucky, returned to his Heavenly Father on Friday, March 20, 2026. He was born in Louisville, Kentucky, on October 10, 1962, to the late Harold Ray Francis and Barbara Ann (Roby) Francis. Tony was a Lead IT Technician at Flaget Memorial Hospital in Bardstown, Kentucky. He was an avid University of Kentucky sports fan and loved his Black Camaro.
Tony was a loving, devoted, and proud husband, dad, pappy, and brother. He loved the Lord and his family meant the world to him. Tony will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his parents.
He leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife of 36 years, Tammy Francis; sons, Cory Francis (Katy) and Christopher Francis; two grandsons, Jameson "Bubby" Francis and Oliver "Ollie" Francis; and brother, Timmy Francis; along with a host of nieces, nephews, and other dear family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, March 28, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Schoppenhorst Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home in Mt. Washington, Kentucky (123 Winning Colors Drive, 40047). Cremation was chosen.
