A Cox's Creek resident Mrs. Barbara Ellen Grant, age 76, passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at her residence. She was born on December 31, 1938 in Gary, IN., to the late James and Marguerite Shelton Amos. She was a former school teacher, and the vice president and secretary of Tubular Engineering and Sales. She was a member of Southeast Christian Church.
She is survived by her husband Roy Grant, a daughter, Beverly (Edward, Jr.) Albies of Franklin Lakes, New Jersey and a son, Kevin (Tracy) Grant of Cox's Creek, a brother, Ralph (Hazel)Amos of Muncie, IN., 5 grandchildren also survive, Maggie, Tyler and Travis Albies, Parker Grant and Alana McGowan.
Visitation for Barbara Ellen Grant will be Saturday August 1, 2015 from 2:00-4:00pm at the Houghlin Greenwell Funeral Home, 1475 New Shepherdsville Road. Funeral services will be Thursday, August 6, 2015 at 3:00 pm at Elm Ridge Memorial Park in Muncie, IN. Entombment will be in Elm Ridge Memorial Park.
