

Beverly June Morris, 93, of Muncie, died on Tuesday, July 27, 2021, at her home. She was born in Muncie on Tuesday, February 14, 1928, the daughter of Charles and Letha (Johnson) Morris. A lifelong resident, she attended Center High School and graduated in 1945.
Beverly joined the Air Force with her brothers after high school. Later, she owned and operated Stone Crafts and Zip Corp. Stone Crafts was a business that made flower pots, and Zip Corp was a business that made diesel dope for diesel trucks.
Beverly also worked for the city of Muncie. She operated a backhoe and bulldozer. Her crew of “River Rats” also mowed grass along the river banks all over Muncie, painted numbers on manholes, and took care of flood control with the drainage ditches in town.
Beverly is survived by her sister, Margaret “Marty” (Ray) Stephens; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Letha Morris; and brothers, Joe “Bink” Morris and Paul “Pete” Morris.
As per Beverly’s wishes, cremation will take place. She will be inurned at Elm Ridge Memorial Park at a later date.
