

Bonnie Lou Gunning-Keller, who passed away at the age of 95 on August 20th, was a revered family matriarch renowned for her exceptional homemaking skills and unwavering commitment to family traditions. She was born on November 10, 1929, in Elwood, IN, and married Charles P. (Chuck) Keller on September 4,1954 creating many happy memories until his death on June 27, 2010.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, Guy and Mildred Gunning, brothers Richard (Dorothy) and Robert (Ann) Gunning, and sister and brother-in-law Mary and Maurice Patterson, and infant sister Donna Gunning
Bonnie is survived by sisters-in-law Dorothy (Richard) Gunning and Ann (Robert) Gunning, her children, Kevin (Cindy), Jeff (Kim), Doug, and Lori (Craig Bolden), as well as numerous grandchildren, including Katie (Chandler) McGuire, Adam (Jaime) Faulkner, Michelle (Rob) Taylor, Cory Keller, Alex (Ashley) Keller, Kyle (Tanya) Keller, and Mary Wood. Her legacy also extends to her great-grandchildren, Adele, Hueston, Sebastian, Eliana, Everhett, and Kinley. Her nephews and nieces include Lisa Patterson (David Miller), Scott Gunning (Renie), Rod Gunning, Roger Gunning (Julie), David Gunning (Angie), and Mark Gunning (Missy). All of whom honor her enduring legacy and faith.
Bonnie’s family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to all the wonderful caregivers at Morrison Woods Assisted Living, Fresenius Dialysis Center, and IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital. Bonnie truly cherished the friendships she made there.
A celebration of Bonnie's life will be held among family and friends on a date yet to be decided.
