David Kyle Hall

David proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps from 1961 to 1991, serving in Cuba, The Vietnam War, Okinawa, Hong Kong and the Philippines. He then spent some time as a Sherriff, and worked with the Secret Service and was part of security for former president Ronald Reagan. He was a member of the American Legion Post #19, Eagles #231, Amvets#12, and served on the board at Beech Grove Cemetery.

Survivors include his sister, Bonnie Ridge of Muncie; brother, Larry Hall of Cleveland, Georgia; nephew, Troy Ridge of Muncie; caregiver, Karen Harty; beloved dog, Baby Girl, and lots of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in passing by his parents, Warren K. and Pauline G. Hall; brothers, Charlie Hall and William “Bill” Hall; his beloved dog, Sniper; and his cat, Robert Redford.

Visitation will be 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Monday, September 29, 2025, at Elm Ridge Funeral Home, 4600 West Kilgore Avenue, Muncie, Indiana, 47304. A funeral service with military honors will begin at 2:00 PM.

David’s final resting place will be at Elm Ridge Memorial Park.
