He was born on August 27, 1933, the son of Morgan (Bud) and Lorena Wilson. David graduated from Muncie Central High School in 1952. He married the love of his life, Nancy, in 1982. For many years, David owned and operated H&W Rental and Sales. David was a cherished member of Southside Church of the Nazarene, where his faith was an integral part of his life. A true NCIS fan, Abby was his favorite character, and he often shared his love for the show with his family.
David is survived by his children, Gil Wilson (Eloise), Timothy Wilson (Roxanne), Marla Cook, Theresa Heatherly (Scott), JoLynn Bennett, Michael Norris, Michelle Babulas, and Chris Wilson (Ryan); seventeen grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
David was preceded in passing by his wife, Nancy Wilson, his parents, his four brothers, one sister, and a grandson.
There will be a celebration of life held at a later date.
