Heather was a cna for many years, which included working at Golden Living Center for a few years and most recently just started at The Waters of Muncie facility. In her spare time she loved to spend time with her family and friends.
Heather is survived by her daughter Laci Wooten; son Landon Wooten; grandson Zeek Rodriguez; sisters Lori (Jacob) Jones, Tammy (Matt) Koons-Unger, Melissa Koons Planck, Bobbie Koons Broswell, and Cheyenne Koons. She is also survived by her step-father who helped raise her, David Nelson; special cousin Josh Good; good friends Amy Eiler, Tasha Lowhorn, and Chastity Fryback; father of her grandson Jeffrey Rodriguez; several brothers; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Dana Koons.
A private service will be held at the request of the family.
Elm Ridge Funeral Home has been entrusted in handling the arrangements.
