Obituary:

Harold L. Burkhardt age 80 of Middletown passed away Friday November 13, 2015 in his home. He was born April 27, 1935 in Crandon, Wisconsin the son of the late Isaac and Bessie (Hester) Burkhardt. Mr. Burkhardt worked as a furnace operator at General Electric for many years retiring in 1997. He greatly enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Nancy Burkhardt; step-son Chris (the late Dana) Montique; four grandchildren Cheyanna (Lee) Oleskewicz, Reo Huff, Dallas Huff, and Leaki Huff; two brothers Jesse Burkhardt and Millard Burkhardt; half brother Johnny Wyatt; and two sisters Barbara Barnett and Dena Jane Burkhardt. Mr. Burkhardt was also preceded in death by two daughters Kim Burkhardt and Sharon Kay Burkhardt; his grandson Robert Earl Huldeman; five brothers Edward Burkhardt, James Burkhardt, Thomas Burkhardt, Frank Roberts, and Jim Roberts, and two step sons Jeffery Montique and Scott Montique. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Wednesday November 18, 2015 at Rose Hill Burial Park in Hamilton, with Pastor Keith Risner, officiating.
