Leslie "Les" W Niccum

Leslie W. “Les” Niccum, 84, of Muncie, peacefully passed to meet his loving Savior May 19, 2026, at home surrounded by his loved ones. He was born July 27, 1941 in Muncie, the son of Robert Warren Niccum and Christine (Whitcomb) Finchum.

After graduating from Muncie Central in 1959, he served in the Army National Guard. Les graduated from Indiana Barber College and had a successful 53 year career barbering, building relationships, and imparting wisdom.

Les was a volunteer barber at the Muncie Mission, member of the Exchange Club and Westminster Presbyterian Church.

His greatest joy was his marriage of 62+ years to Nora Burden Niccum and their children Tim and (Angee) Niccum, Tana and (Bruce) Smith, Trisha and (Mike) Kersey, and Tom and (Donna) Niccum.

Les was the proud Papa to Tara, Jeremy, Ryan, Courtney, Emily, Tyler, Lindsay, Nate, Sam, Nick, Nora Jayne, Lilly, Jack, Will, Katie, Mak, and Christie.

His great grandchildren are Camden, Kyeson, Dawson, Jameson, Sawyer, Warren, Eden, Porter, Hudson, Barrett, Walker, Ruthie, Ridley, Juliette, Reid, Bristol, Miley, Everett, and Conner.

Les is also survived by several cousins.

Family and friends may gather Friday, May 29, 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at Elm Ridge Funeral Home, 4600 W. Kilgore Avenue, Muncie, Indiana, 47304.

A service to honor his life will be at 10:00 AM, Saturday, May 30, 2026, at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 2801 W. Riverside Avenue, Muncie, Indiana, 47304.
