Rev. Richard Lambert, Sr.

He was born Sunday, December 10, 1922, in Logan, West Virginia, the son of Doc and Martha (Nelson) Lambert.

Rev. Lambert was truly a man of God his entire life and will be remembered as a positive light in many people's lives.

He was a pastor for seventy-two years as well as working in television repair, coal mining, and for Ball Brothers.

Richard loved his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren beyond measure. He will truly be missed by all.

He leaves to cherish his memory, children, Gary Lambert, Muncie, Indiana, Bob (Margaret) Lambert, Farmland, Indiana, Richie Lambert, Sr., St. Petersburg, Florida, Ersel (Barbara) Lambert, St. Petersburg, Florida, Dan Lambert, Muncie, Indiana, Raymond Lambert of Dunellen, Florida, and Warren (Aprille) Lambert, Muncie, Indiana.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents; loving wife of over seventy years, Dixie Loraine (Ray) Lambert; sons, Larry Lambert and Timothy Lambert; daughters, Beverly (Lambert) Doughty and Pamela (Lambert) Slaven; daughter-in-law, Robin Lambert.

Services will be Monday, November 27, 2017, at Elm Ridge Funeral Home, 4600 West Kilgore Avenue, Muncie, Indiana 47304 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Paul Davis officiating.

Visitation will be Monday at Elm Ridge Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 1:00 p.m.

Entombment will immediately follow the service at Elm Ridge Memorial Park Mausoleum.
