Rhoda Janette White

She was born Saturday, May 24, 1919, in Huntington, Indiana, the daughter of Blaine Welcomouth and Maude (Lemon) George. Rhoda graduated from Eaton High School. She was a lifelong homemaker and enjoyed Jig Saw puzzles, loved to crochet and work Word Search puzzles.

Survivors include her daughter, Mary Lou (husband Richard) Holland; son, Michael Lee (wife Peggy) White; granddaughter, Jennifer (husband Shane) Boda; great-grandchildren, Danielle Neal, Tyler Neal and Mackenzie Boda; five step grandchildren; and several step great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of seventy-one years, Will Edmond White; eight brothers and sisters; and grandson, Michael Wayne White.

Services will be held 12:00 p.m., Monday, January 29, 2018, at Elm Ridge Funeral Home, 4600 West Kilgore Avenue, Muncie, Indiana 47304. Burial will follow in Elm Ridge Memorial Park.

Family and friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until service time Monday at Elm Ridge Funeral Home.

Rhoda was loved by all her family. She will be missed by family, friends, and the Holland family.
