Russell Edward Dunsmore

Russell Edward Dunsmore, 70, passed away on Monday, January 23, 2023, at Indiana University Ball Memorial Hospital surrounded by loved ones. He was born December 31, 1952, the son of Marshall and Geneva Dunsmore. Russell was a devoted Christian. He loved being outdoors, whether he was fishing or mowing the lawn. Russell enjoyed tinkering in the garage, shopping at flea markets, and talking on the phone. More than anything, he loved to be with his family and beloved pets. Survivors include his children, Chris (Angie) Dunsmore, Derrick Dunsmore, and Ashley Dunsmore; grandchildren, Tyler Dunsmore and Emma Dunsmore; and siblings, Laura (Bill) Smith, Rosie Adkins, and Debbie Dunsmore. He was preceded in death by his wife, Connie Dunsmore; his parents; and several siblings. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, February 3, 2023, at Elm Ridge Funeral Home, 4600 West Kilgore Avenue, Muncie, Indiana 47304. Burial will follow at Elm Ridge Memorial Park.
