Toni Nicole Bowling

Toni, daughter of Michael Bowling and Samantha Hess, was born August 30, 1990, in Muncie, IN.

Toni was a devoted mother to her son Dakoda and a loving fiancée to Cody, with whom she shared 18 years of love and commitment. She cherished family gatherings and valued the time spent with her loved ones. Exploring new destinations and taking trips with her son and fiancé brought her immense joy. According to her fiancé Cody, Toni's passion for music was unmatched, and she could rap with remarkable skill. Known for her bubbly and humorous personality, Toni was affectionately regarded as a 'daddy's girl' even at 35, and her warmth made her hard to forget. Her endearing nature earned her the love and admiration of everyone she met.

Among those who survive Toni are her father, Michael Bowling, and mother, Samantha Hess; her fiancé, Cody Erhart, and son, Dakoda Erhart; her brothers, Shannon, Justin, and half-brother Michael; her mother-in-law, Angela Erhart; her sister-in-law, Desaray (Tony) Erhart, and brother-in-law, Paul; her nephew, Zachary; her nieces, Selena and Noraely Shyla, Piper, and little Tony; her great niece, Erika; and several beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Those preceding Toni in death include her paternal grandparents, James and Lotena Bowling, her maternal grandmother, Darlene Benton, her maternal grandfather, James Addison, her stepfather, Tom Hess, and her aunt, Janey Daggett.

A funeral service will be held at 2 pm on Thursday, January 8, 2026, at Elm Ridge Funeral Home, with Pastor Jeff Haill officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 12 pm until the time of the service on Thursday, at the funeral home.
