But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.(1 Thess 4:13-15) Barbara Ellen (Pennington) Turner was born December 22,1950 to the late Glay Odus Pennington and Lola Bertha Fay (Wallen) Pennington in Lee County , Virginia. She was the youngest of three children. Her brother Rex Pennington. And sister Leila Robbins preceded her death. On February 25, 1972 She was united in marriage to James Lester Turner who also precedes her death. To this union was born 2 children. Barbara was a devoted wife and mother and grandmother. She always made sure that her children were alway taken care of. Barbara was also hard work away from home as well. She worked for Aetna for over 25 years, she also worked a few odd jobs like Pizza Hut, domino’s, Cumberland Swan warehouse. One of her main hobbies was taking pictures. She leaves to cherish her Memory a brother Rex Pennington 2 children James Eric (Melinda)Turner and Travis Turner and 4 grandkids, Austin and Blake, Peyton Wallace -Turner and Sydney Wallace- Turner. And a host of relatives and Friends. Gone but never Forgotten Barbara will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Mrs.Barbara Turner will be laid to rest in the Mausoleum alongside her husband James Turner at Roselawn Memorial Gardens Murfreesboro, TN

BT you were such a sweetheart, and a great friend! I didn't get to see you alot after Judy moved to Christiana and left us both. You will be missed by all who knew you. I will miss that smile and your laughter, but I will always carry it in my heart and memories. Until we meet again my beautiful friend, fly high with the angels! God Bless 💞
