Marjorie Bolton Austin

Marjorie Bolton Austin, 78, of Murfreesboro, Tennessee passed away in her home on February 22, 2022. She was born on September 11, 1943 in Clear Creek, Kentucky to the late Lawrence and Glenna Bolton. She resided in Murfreesboro for the last 46 years. She was baptized in Clear Creek and is a former member of the Harmony Baptist Church near Pineville, Kentucky.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Wayne Austin of Chillicothe, Missouri. She is survived by her son, Richard Lawrence Wagner and former daughter in law, Mary Grace Hosey and daughter Karen Bolton Plaisance and her husband Jerry of Murfreesboro, six grandchildren, Cameron Wagner, Kellen Wagner, Hayley Wagner, Paul Plaisance, Benjamin Plaisance and Adam Plaisance. Marjorie was the youngest of four, preceded in death by Melvin Bolton, Edith Money, and Dorothy Davis.

A graduate of the University of Tennessee School of Nursing, many remember her as a member of the Murfreesboro Medical Clinic Obstetrics department for almost 30 years. She resided in Murfreesboro for the last 46 years and was a member of Belle Aire Baptist Church.

Visitation will be on Saturday afternoon, February 26, 2022 from One O’clock till Four O’clock at Roselawn Funeral Home, 5350 NW Broad Street, Murfreesboro, TN 37129. Graveside services will be at Ten O’clock in morning, Monday, February 28, 2022 at Smith Hill Cemetery in Pineville, KY.

Pallbearers will be Richard Wagner, Cameron Wagner, Kellen Wagner, Jerry Plaisance, Paul Plaisance and Benjamin Plaisance.
