Martha Jane Thomas

Martha Jane Thomas, age 62, of Smyrna, Tennessee, passed into the arms of Jesus on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital. Martha Jane was the daughter of the late George “Budley” and Doris Phillips and daughter in law of the late Elvis and Melba Thomas. She is survived by her husband of over 43 years, Ronnie Thomas; daughter Janie Kliewer and her husband Landon and sweet granddaughter Audrey; daughter Laura McDowell and her husband Michael; son, Phil Thomas and his wife Tonya; sister, Mary Lee Lowe and her husband Billy; brothers, Barry Phillips, Bob Phillips and his wife Maria and David Phillips; sister in law Leann Luther.

Martha Jane loved the Lord deeply and shared that faith with her family. She knew He was her shepherd and loved lambs, reminding her of Him. Martha Jane was her happiest when she and Ronnie were surrounded with their kids and their families. The louder the house when they were all there, the more she smiled.

Services to celebrate Martha Jane will be Tuesday afternoon October 12, 2021 at One O’clock at New Vision, Battlefield Campus. Friends are invited to visitation Monday evening from Four O’clock until Eight O’clock at Roselawn Funeral Home and Tuesday from Eleven O’clock until the service begins at One O’clock at New Vision, Battlefield Campus. Placement will follow the service at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. We will "Live Stream" the service on our Facebook page, Roselawn Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens- Murfreesboro, TN.
