Rosetta Lucy Schmidt

Rosetta L. Schmidt (Reeves), age 91, of Smyrna, Tennessee went to be with her heavenly Father on November 4, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband, James D. Schmidt, daughter, Sandra K. Schmidt, son, Vernon G. Schmidt, parents, Carl L. and Nellie M. Reeves (Harbison), brothers, Neil, Albert, Gale Reeves, James Werley and sisters, Leoma Werly Doris, Louise Werley Wilson.

She is survived by her daughter, Jackie Turner of Murfreesboro; son, James W. Schmidt (Angie) of Smyrna; grandchildren, Kelly Turner and Daniel Turner (Jessica) of Murfreesboro and Abby Hunter (Logan) of Chapel Hill; great grandchildren, Kara Brown, Addison, Avery and Anderson Turner of Murfreesboro and Elsie Hunter of Chapel Hill; brother, Donald Reeves of Percy, Ill and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was a homemaker, worked in the school cafeteria of David Youree and CAM Intl Antioch. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Smyrna Nazarene Youth, 404 Overton Drive, Smyrna, Tennessee, 37167.

Funeral Service to celebrate Mrs. Schmidt will be at Two O’clock the afternoon of Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at Roselawn Funeral Home with Pastor Tony Clemons officiating. Visitation will also be on Wednesday from 12noon till the service begins at Two O’clock. Placement will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
