Sally Beene Michello

Sally Beene Namangolwa Michello was born to Elizabeth Hilliard and Dr. Frank Michello, in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, on August 4th, 1984. Sally was the youngest of three children. She passed on Thursday, June 10th, 2021, at her apartment in Murfreesboro at age 36.

Sally was raised in Murfreesboro and attended Oakland High School where she graduated in 2002. After graduating High School, Sally attended Middle Tennessee State University where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science in 2008.

Sally was a smart and a brilliant student. Her dream was to become a lawyer so that she could help others with their legal problems. She had a sweet and friendly spirit that made it easy for her to make friends. She was a hard and dedicated worker greatly beloved by co-workers. As a Benefits Specialist at a Mortgage company, she won several awards for best and most productive employee.

Preceding her in death were her older brother, Dean Michello; grandparents – Mr. & Mrs. Michello, and Mr. & Mrs. Muleya; her uncles, Peter Muleya, John Muleya, Luke Muleya, and Francis Michello; aunts Alice Muleya, and Mary Muleya; cousins Christopher Chungu, David Chungu, Trevor Kaaya, Victor Maambo, Topley Maambo, and other relatives in Zambia.

During her short life’s journey, those blessed to know and love her include her brother Philip Michello and his wife Tracy Michello of Murfreesboro; her niece Kennedy Michello of Murfreesboro; her step-mother Sonja Michello and younger sister Olivia Michello of Murfreesboro; her cousins Beatrice Maambo, Donia Miti, and Manda Chungu of Maryland, her uncles Alex Muleya of United Kingdom, and Tenford Michello of Zambia, her aunt Cecilia Miti of Zambia; aunts Delight Chungu and Margaret Maambo of Zambia; cousin Reagan Michello of Zambia and other many relatives both in Zambia and in the diaspora.
