Darrell Leroy Richardson passed away on January 3. Darrell was 82 years old. Darrell was born in San Diego, California on February 13, 1942 to Leroy Richardson and June Clark. Darrell is preceded in death by his wife Gloria, his parents, brother Alan Richardson, and sister Elizabeth.
Darrell was married to Gloria for 35 years. He leaves behind his son David Richardson, adult step-children Donna Hall (Mark), Christy Brady, Joe Lopez (Lori), Julie Glennie (Jim), 13 Grandchildren and 10 Great-Grandchildren.
Darrell attended High School and College in San Diego. Darrell had a long successful career with Pacific Bell as a telephone repair and installation technician as well as a central office line assigner where he met his wife Gloria. Before retiring Darrell loved fishing and playing golf. In retirement his passions were spectator sports, old westerns, and the weather channel. If there was a major weather event brewing somewhere, Darrell knew about it.
The family is saddened by his passing. His spirit lives on in the hearts and minds of everyone who knew him. The family takes solace that he and Gloria are reunited and home with our Lord Jesus Christ.
