Geraldine “Gerri” Joan Gizara (née Lipinski) of Sun City, CA passed away Wednesday October 25, 2023 at the age of 86. She was born on April 8,1937 in Philadelphia, PA where she also grew up. She was the oldest of five with four younger brothers.
Gerri graduated from high school in 1955 and married John R. Gizara in 1956. They lived most of their lives in Delran, NJ and together they had 3 sons, Raymond, Eric, and Andrew. Gerri worked in New Jersey as an administrative assistant for Moorestown High School until she retired in 1998. Gerri and John purchased their Sun City, CA home in 1999 and lived bi-coastal for many years until they sold their Delran home in 2015. Her hobbies included going to the movies, shopping, and having lunch with friends, but she loved spending time with her family above all else. A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, friend, and neighbor, Gerri will be missed by many.
Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service for Geraldine on Friday, November 17, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Miller Jones Menifee Memorial Park and Mortuary, 26770 Murrieta Rd., Menifee, CA 92585. Reception at her home in Sun City to follow.
